"Sure, that Haitian crackhead broke in your apartment to try to kill you, eat your cat and rape your wife, but have you considered that, as an American citizen, you technically have the backing of a global hegemon with nuclear weapons? Now that you've shot him, you can't demand anyone's sympathy."

Israel owes a giant debt to the bravery of the Jews willing to live sandwitched between the genocidal Arabs and the suicidal IDF, and standing between Israel (or "the Judea and Samaria envelope" as I call it) and October 7 times 20. The considerable successes of their movement in this situation is a modern day miracle

1. It's increasingly clear to me that much of the Israeli military establishment will end up executed or in prison when all is said and done.

2. The Islamification and Arabization of the Middle East still remains the worst thing to have ever happened to it. A forge of nations reduced to a sea of barbarians in relatively short order.

Elliot Friedland's avatar

We can’t blame this state of affairs on “the left” forever, since they’ve been out of power for years and the right has completely failed to bring security or law and order.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

I agree that the right sucks, but it’s difficult to claim that the left is out of power, because until someone successfully challenges their sovereignty, the Supreme Court is the sovereign de facto.

Yossi Kreinin's avatar

Halevi said openly, if there's a constitutional crisis, we will stand with the high court. So the sovereign is the IDF. Not easy to challenge, though I'm hopeful on the grounds of general unsubstantiated optimism. (Certainly my optimism led me astray when I hoped for Tomer Yerushalmi, not to mention her hundred or so co-conspirators, to get more than a slap on the wrist for their hideous, grotesque acts of treason)

Yehuda Mandel's avatar

It’s really quite simple. As long as there are Arabs living in the land of Israel this violence will never end. Israel’s magnanimity in allowing them to stay after all the wars, all the way up to the present, was in reality suicidal empathy. A concept that does not exist amongst the barbarians of the Middle East.

Hammer Otongo's avatar

"So we can understand the events of October 7th from this perspective-the Gazans were provoked by the idyllic leftist kibbutzim enjoying the land taken from their grandparents by force."

The difference is that the Left believes they have an inalienable right to live along the Gaza envelope whereas Jews do not belong in the Shomron. The saying, "the Left see their violence as free speech and sees your free speech as violence" can be applied to pretty much every apparent case of left wing hypocrisy.

Incidents like these make me wonder if a Leftist government wouldn't be preferable. The IDF is only able to keep a lid on Jewish terrorism because it has the cover to do so provided by a right wing government, the IDF itself having lost all of it's remaining credibility on Oct 7. If an Eishenekot/Lapid govt tried to do what Bibi and Katz are doing, the IDF could be facing a settler intifada (which it would lose, like it does against every determined opponent it faces).

I still believe the right will win the elections and I still believe that is for the best as it will allow Bibi to start purging the judiciary and hopefully increase Leftist emigration, but there could be some positives to a Leftist government.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

Many on the left and center had a sort of awakening after October 7th.

Anyway, I don’t think that the vast majority of the settlers are mentally, economically, physically equipped for any kind of civil war. They would fold.

Hammer Otongo's avatar

Oh no question, I didn't mean an outright civil war, per se. But when the normie settlers see that the IDF campaign against Jewish terrorism is directly leading to their communities being attacked by Arabs, they may offer tacit support to the Jewish terrorists. The IDF has all but admitted that it can't stop settler terrorism without it's settler Judenrat to do their dirty work for them, similar to how the British could do nothing against the Irgun without the Haganah doing the heavy lifting.

"Many on the left and center had a sort of awakening after October 7th."

Enough of an awakening to change how they ~feel~, but certainly not how they ~vote~. The Lapid voter of Oct 6 is still going to vote for Lapid, it's just that now he is going to vote for Lapid while also believing that the only good Arab is a dead Arab. And when it comes to the media, the IDF and the Leftist politicians, I have literally not noticed any difference whatsoever between pre and post Oct 7.

Respectfully, this is an embarrassing and evil perspective with no limiting principle. Jewish terrorists are systematically pushing Palestinians off of their land in a cycle of provoking, getting military zones declared, then establishing illegal settlements, then legalizing those settlements.

The logic of it is that if Palestinians don't accept that you took control over some of the land, then you are justified by that to take control over all the land.

Declare your borders until/unless you are attacked again, declare a final status for any Palestinians within those borders. Or at the very least declare an upper limit of how many palestinian lives are taken by the Jewish terrorists before you decide that taking judea and Samaria by force is being done at such a high moral and diplomatic cost it is not worth it.

You are teaching the Palestinians that you are the worst version of everything they believe about you.

Peace and love.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

The best version of everything they believe about us is... Kibbutz Beeri. And Kfar Aza.

I am reminded of Gandhi's advice to the Jews in 1938: "offer satyagraha in front of the Arabs and offer (yourselves )to be shot or thrown into the Dead Sea without raising a little finger against them.” You seem like the kind of guy who likes Gandhi, right?

NoRandomWalk's avatar

I could spend forever, and it would not be long enough, lamenting the horrors of what Hamas did on that day and would have done the day after if they were not prevented from doing so.

It is impossible to make a coherent statement of any kind if there is a single 'they,' independent of the context and history and completely indifferent to the reality that as much as there is 'people' there are also individuals facing local environments and making individual choices, and the basic moral truth that every day new palestinians are born into an environment you have a significant amount of influence over.

Two questions, so I can better understand your perspective:

What would palestinians in judea and samaria need to do for you to consider the systematic violence/pressure slowly squeezing them out of area c sufficiently illegitimate as to justify hyper-local self-defense (someone comes into a palestinian village and starts attacking, you can attack them back and it would be fine with you), and again same question but for collective self-defense (there is a pattern of behavior of people from a nearby settlement attacking a palestinian village, they can respond by attacking the village until they agree to leave you alone)?

Presumably you have a very different relationship to arabs who have citizenship within israel proper, and palestinians in Gaza. Do you think of palestinians in the west bank/judea and samaria as functionally similar to one of these two groups, or a third population in idelogy/behavior altogether. And what do you think is the primary variable that results in a high likelihood of choosing from a spectrum of tacit to enthusiastic coexistence, and irridentist-martyr violence?

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

Your laments and ten shekel will buy a cup of coffee at Coffix.

The Palestinians have been consistent in their declared positions and their behavior. I see no deep difference between them and Israeli Arabs. If they see the opportunity to take Land, prey on Jews, with a reasonable expectation of going unpunished or getting away with a light punishment, they take it. They all need to go.

Well said!

We all know who your "hikers" are (Kahanist hilltop youth) , what you do (burn Arab homes) , and why you do it (Kahanism).

I don't know why you are being so coy about what you Kahanists do. You are Kahanists. Your explicitly stated strategy is to use violence, arson, vandalism, theft, murder, and, memorably, a cable tie around a penis, to achieve your stated goal of ethnically cleansing the west bank. On principle you regard the concept that there should be any moral limit whatsoever on the nature of your activities as degeneracy / golus mentality / apostasy / virtue signalling. You have been eminently clear on this subject.

What's fairly clear, mainly due to the invention of the camera phone, is that after 3 years of sustained Kahanist violence, occasionally Palestinians have mounted a minor counter-offensive of their own. In this respect, I trust the evidence of my own lying eyes.

The Palestinians appear to have been effective, in that their own violence has inspired the state of Israel to enforce at least some token law and order.

It would also seem apparent from the public reaction that the majority of Israelis, Jews, and humans have as much patience and empathy for your plight as you have for the plight of the Arab villagers: none at all.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

Did they tie this thing around your penis? Or did you see them tie it around an Arab’s penis? In any case, you should definitely go file a complaint with the police. But perhaps remove the cable tie first, the police move slowly and the penis could, chas v’shalom, become gangrenous while you wait.

I am perplexed at the strategy of these hikers-I personally would not go looking for Palestinian penises to cable tie at 7 in the morning on a Friday, when all the Arabs are home, up and about, nor would I file a plan with the IDF if that was my intent. Perhaps the illogical nature of this plot was intended to confuse the Arabs and authorities.

Truly, the deviousness of the Kahanists knows no bounds-they play 5D chess!

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

I'm just wondering how you can write a post supportive of Tal Inon Dardik while professing ignorance of the event he has been suspected of involvement in.

Are you a) an intenet hasbarist genuinely ignorant of what everyone who has been taking an interest knows, or b) do you actually know that a Kahanist acted like a Kahanist, but think that you can somehow taqiyya this knowledge on utilitarian grounds, not so much post Kahanist as post truth.

For other readers: the cable ties were left scattered around the village of Khirbet Humsa. If you don't believe Suhaub Abualkebash, perhaps you'd believe Rabbi Yehuda Gilad of Ma'ale Gliboa.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

If the allegations had any evidence, there would have been a warrant, an arrest, charges, a trial. In this day and age of mobile phones especially. Instead, we get these unattributed allegations and an administrative distancing order.

I do not understand what Rabbi Gilad has to do with anything-did someone zip tie his penis, too? Was he there watching the zip tieing?

Finally, what does Tal Inon have to do with the hikers who were assaulted in broad daylight? He was sitting in jail at the time. Did he send them to ziptie penises after letting the army know?

I'm just trying to keep the plot straight here.

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

Oh, so you did know about the allegations? Just trying to keep the plot straight here.

For those not invested in taqqiya about the extremism of those who publicly advocate for extremism, the incident on 16 March where a Kahanist cable tied a shephered's genitalia, then marched him around the village of Khirbet Humsa, is not the same incident this week, where a group of butthurt Kahanists seeking violent revenge for a stabbing incident ("hikers") got their backsides handed to them twice in one hour on both sides of the village of Tul this week.

It's genuinely tragic that Major Yuval Ezra was killed by the Palestinians during the incident. The Kahanists have never cared about the security risks they create for the army.

Dardik can walk out of jail without a trial whenever he wants and go live in his Mom's basement. Instead, he is threatening to starve himself to death rather than stay out of the zone he can maraud and cause trouble, ostensibly out of concern for his sheep.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

Do you have any evidence for your assertion that Tal Inon assaulted anyone in Khirbet Humsa?

Do you have any evidence for your assertion that the hikers who were attacked were doing anything other than hiking?

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

You see it's not just you who can do this bad-faith vexatious legalistic thing. You will note that I never asserted that Tal Inon assaulted anyone. The Kahanists who carried out the attack were masked, and Jewish, which is an impregnable barrier to facing any accountability. What I did say is what the state of Israel said: that he is suspected of central involvement in the incident. That's why the state have not tried Tal Inon. They've merely asked required by way of administrative order that he put his life as a professional Kahanist terrorist on hold for a period, and camp out other than in Palestinian faces. But we all know he *probably* did it.

I don't agree with your bleeding heart liberalism in the West Bank. I think the situation requires control orders even when no strict proof beyond all reasonable doubt exists. But it's nice to hear you advocate for the release from all controls of two Palestinians who are suspected of having begun it all with the fire at Havat Gilad. Oh - you do believe in control orders.

https://www.ynetnews.com/article/rkrgwlkrzg

https://www.ynetnews.com/article/b1dhi11feze

It was those fires which makes the story of "hikers" setting off at 7AM from a Kahanist output implausible.

אפרים's avatar

what "violent revenge" were these Kahanist hikers performing, when Palestinians attacked them?

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

The whining victimhood of those who regard themselves as the vanguard of Jewish virile pride is pathetic. Everyone knows who you are. You are Kahanists. Not all terrorists are Kahansists, but all Kahanists are terrorists by doctrine.

You are out, loud and proud, about your violent amorality.

You chose to live as terrorists. You chose to terrorise Palestinian villages. You choose violence.

Are we supposed to believe that the violence you espouse is purely theoretical?

There are natural consequences to your choices. What did you think would happen when you invaded villages? When you burned mosques? Of course you will be arrested and face lengthy periods of incarceration and restriction. Of course some of you have done unto you what you would do unto others. Some of you will die.

Are we supposed to have sympathy?

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

Shaya, wipe your screen.

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

. Can you, at least hypothetically, condemn sexual torture by zip-tying genitalia? No you cannot. You will not condemn anything. Nothing is too much. To you any morality is decadence. That is your creed.

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

Just testing to confirm whether Kahanist has supressed my comments (probably the least objectionable thing he has done today).

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

No - this appears to work. So after being caught out incorrectly describing the Kahanist doctor who wrote a farcial exculpatory report in relation to the Force 100 affair as an Arab, our Kahanist has the temerity to accuse me of being a propagandist.

I think I've worked out why people who continuously agitate for extreme violence think they can gaslight the world about actual extreme violence.

I think you guys like to think of yourselves as real pros. Real operators. Competent. Forensically aware. You think if you smash all the phones and CCTV and use riot shields to block the cameras you can carry out the business with zip ties and rods to your heat's delight.

In reality, you are a motley collection of balding paunchy Jews interspersed with mere children.

@Ephraim thought it was very implausible that Kahanists would attack a village in daylight. They literally did it for the BBC.

We all see you. Your way is destructive and inconsistent with normal family life. Some of you will die perpetrating acts of terror. Many of you will spend years in prison. Some of you will get out before it is too late. There's something truly nauseating listening to your whining about the fate you have chosen for yourselves. All you have to do is stop. Or not - please yourselves, just own the logical consequences.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

The automatic rules have hidden your comment. Even they are tired of you.

I will unhide it for you.

Your bad faith shitlib propaganda is tiresome. The fact is that the state is inequipped to deal with your little terrorist pets, and after decades of them running wild and doing whatever they want, enough of the Jews are tired of the game.

You can point and sputter and make hystrionic accusations all you want. Sure, the Gazans are all dead of famine, except for the ones in prison with the Kahanist rapedogs. Yes, all the West Bank Arabs have had zip ties put on their penises by Kahanists. Sure, every Arab arson, murder, rape, theft is the result of Kahanist provocations. Yes, absolutely, the Arabs are just like us, they just want to live in peace and raise their babies, the last 100 years of observed Arab behavior to the contrary.

We are simply past caring. You guys have beaten this dead horse into the ground. Even normies from the center understand what the Arabs are and what they want.

They will be pushed out of here. Some will move to be your neighbors. You can coexist with them, under the beneficent auspices of your progressive masters.

Enjoy!

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

Well it's interesting you raise the comparison with the Arabs.

I mentioned I thought about 15% or so of Israelis were Kahanist terrorists. I reckon about 45% of the West Bank palestinians are also equivalent Kahanists, as are probably about 25% of the Gazans (it used to be about 70%, but natural consequences can be very educational).

I regard you Kahanists as absolutely the moral equivalent of Nukhba, albeit less fit, worse marksmen, and better armed . But you are my kin, and kin preference is an evolved trait, and one should never despaire.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

No, no.

All of us are Kahanists.

The shitlibs of the Gaza Envelope are Kahanists too-their kibbutzim sit on expropriated Arab lands, and the ones who had access to weapons (the Kahanist army disarmed most of them) picked them up to kill the Arabs in order to defend their families on October 7th.

The Arabs are all Kahanists.

Everyone is a Kahanist.

I am not your kin. You have cut yourself off from us.

Shaya Grosskopf's avatar

Well, I agree that Kahanists abound. Hamas are ideologically Kahanists, and the KKK are Kahanists, and Hezbollah are all Kahanists in my eyes.

What makes a Kahanist a Kahanist is that they want to wallow in the shit. They want to sit in today's shit tomorrow. They want the same shit for their children: in fact they want to make it more shitty, They don't want the violence and the misery to ever end. In 75 years time, the Kahanists still want to be cable-tying the mukhtar's privates, and Hamas want to be cable-tying the Jews.

It's true that in 1948 -50 years ago shit happened. Majdal became Ashkelon. In 1929 shit happened, and the Jews were kicked out of Hebron and Gaza. Shit happened in the Holocaust, but you can't live in the past. You need to live in the future. The shit of the past should not define the and limit the present. That willingness to break the mould, the irrepressible urge towards national self determination, is the essence of Zionism. And I am a Zionist. I am an Israeli Zionist and I am a Palestinian Zionist. Shkoiyach - I'll be thinking of you this Kol Nidre.

It is true that there is no credible way to zero violence. That's not a counsel for despair. It's possible to vastly reduce the violence and misery. Or do you miss fighting with Egypt and Jordan?

I'm not a pacifist. I believe in natural consequences . After 20 years of firing rocket after rocket at Sderot, the people of the razed patch of broken masonry that used to be Beit Hanoun got what was coming to them. And I'm sorry to say that Benayahu got what was coming to him.

I'm not a legalist: international law is arbitrary and amorphous. I believe in the concept of honour. There's no definition of honour: you know it when you see it, and Force 100 sadists had none.

Baruch Hasofer's avatar

Of course the violence and misery will end. And of course there's a credible way to zero violence. But you don't want to hear that, so I recommend taking your Lexapro, getting out the acoustic guitar and strumming along with Imagine.

If only Israel had the full backing of a global hegemon and nuclear weapons, then it could truly defend itself against arsonists and stone throwers.

Alas, we can only bemoan that somehow those we kill are seen in a better light than us, the killers.
